WE ARE THE MUNSCI JAILBREAKERS ROBOTICS CLUB. Founded since 2011. We are from Muntinlupa Science High School, a know school to all. The club has __ members, excluding alumni. We compete every year in the contests. We join the Philippine Robotics Olympiad, Tagisang Robotics and FIRST Lego League. We have two coaches: Sir Rico Bantiles and Sir Emmanuel Estrellado (currently in Japan for his scholarship program). Each individual in our team is intellectually advanced, brave, enthusiastic, highly motivated and values-oriented students. Our goal is to stretch our intellectual abilities; show our talent to the community; learn new life-situated problems; help each other learn from mistakes. We move as a big team and we're determined to win the Tagisang Robotics this November. GO MJRC!

what we did today is that we did the actual connections to our robot and to see if our robot would function as needed. however when we tested the actual connections with the real motors and motor drivers we encountered a big problem. the voltage output of our motor driver seems to be capped at 5v. which is not nice since it makes the motor run very slow. which is obviously undesirable for us. so what we did is that we pried open the motor driver that was issued to us. we are not very happy with what we saw, there are some poor solders on the pcb board of our motor driver. which may cause problems in the future and there are burn marks on it, signs that it might have been damaged already.
and so we emailed the tagisang robotics secretariat and asked what could be done regarding the motor driver problem that we are having. one suggestion that we had received from the people at e-gizmo is to use the motor driver that they are selling at their place. but it costs php800+ and it could only drive one motor so in order to drive our two motors we need two of those said motor drivers. we don't know if we could still bear the expenses of this contest. hope we win in the end.
